Abstract: Is it true that the number of odd divisors of any positive integer n is the same as the number of ways you can sum consecutive integers to equal n?  This problem was posed by Dean Hoffman at the 2007 REU Program at Auburn University.  A solution to this problem that is easy to remember will be given and proven.
