I began my career at Columbus State University in 1985 in the cataloging department. My love for books and reading made this an ideal department for me as I got to see all the new books first as they were being cataloged. After about three years, I was promoted to Head of Circulation. And as they say...the rest is history. I now get to indulge in another of my favorites - meeting new people. Managing a service point has been a challenging but fulfilling experience for the past 12 years. Thankfully I have a great staff of full-time employees and student assistants. I greet each day knowing that something exciting or funny will happen in Circulation.
